We have three en-suite bedrooms, all on the ground floor for easy access. All have TV and the usual tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast is served on the enclosed verandah overlooking the garden and assorted animals and birds!
During the summer months guests are also welcome to relax in our living room which is television free, (yes we have one in the bedroom and Tim is incapable of cooking the breakfast without watching the news, so there is one in the kitchen as well!) The idea being that if your other half is engrossed in their favourite soap in the bedroom and you can't abide it, you can read in peace in another room or perhaps socialise with ourselves or other guests.
Our large garden has a number of sheltered areas where you can sit and relax or use our gas or traditional barbecue to cook your evening meal.
I've recently purchased a croquet set for the front lawn which should be interesting. Apparently it can be quite a vicious game for all its supposedly civilised reputation! I think I'd better keep Tim well away from it!
We have an enclosed field behind the house suitable for camping should you have older children who would like some independence. We charge £5 per person per night for camping, the field has been cut since the photo was taken - not quite a bowling green but not bad!

Tariff - this stays the same throughout the year ,from £27-50 per person per night sharing a double or twin room including a full English breakfast. £30 for single occupancy. This will ncrease in March to £30 and £35 respectively due to increased overheads.
Evening meals by prior arrangement. In particular we would be happy to cook for you on the evening you arrive if it is agreed beforehand. I'm a great Jamie Oliver and Delia Smith fan to give you an idea of what to expect! I'm currently working my way through Rick Stein's Mediterrean book which has some great recipes in it so Italian and Spanish food are the order of the day at the moment! Saying that, I am always happy to cook a Cornish fish pie or anything more traditionally English, puddings in particular from rhubarb crumble to bread and butter pudding, chocolate fudge cake to Eton Mess, I think perhaps the British do desserts best! I'm not good at impromptu as I like to use fresh ingredients and the shops in the immediate vicinity are very limited....
Main courses £7-50, lighter meals available on request.
Puddings £2-50
Home made soup and bread £3-50
Relax during your stay with a session of massage or reflexology, special prices for guests are £20 for massage, lasting around an hour and £15 for reflexology, about 45 minutes.
However I've marketed The Olive Tree, we seem to be attracting a good number of overseas visitors which makes life far more interesting! One site that we're on which is reaping results is worth a look if you're travelling to Europe looking for reasonably priced accommodation - www.bedhunt.com
